Our multi-benefit Cultural Preservation projects are mission-aligned to restore and protect our "People" and culture to empower Indigenous sovereignty and self-determination. Through our reconciliation of understanding the pain of colonialism, we can heal by reconnecting to the roots of our land. We interweave the Indigenous knowledge passed down from generations time immemorial, to better understand what is essential to restore and protect our ecosystem to pre-colonization standards, and to promote biodiversity and balance growth.

Unity 2 Protect Sacred Sites
Our multi-benefit Ecological Preservation projects are mission-aligned to raise awareness about the intersectionality between Environmental Justice and Social Justice, and the importance of combining Nature 1st and People 1st, as equal priorities. We collaborate with local Indigenous leaders to co-develop community strategies to implement cultural burning as a technique to manage land as ecological restoration, wildfire prevention and social cultural restoration. Wetland restoration and monitoring areas with high flood risk and sea level rise, benefit from Indigenous knowledge of historical events and what the landscape traditionally should reflect. When we bring Indigenous people to the conversation early and often, we can combine traditional knowledge with modern innovative technology, to help us predict, plan and implement solutions to overcome and adapt to the local and global risks of the Climate Crisis.

Unity 2 Protect Sacred Sites
Our W.H.A.L.E. Connection resources are designed to educate, steward, protect and envision to create a more resilient community.
We encourage you to become stewards of the natural world around you. We all need access to clean water and reduce risk of potential flooding; safe shelter that is both eco-friendly and a fire resistant home; have clean fresh air without contaminants from pollution; our natural world and ecosystem to be healthy and in balance; and when natural disaters, or other significant world events harm the world around us to have ways to heal and restore our environment around us. When you become aware of what is in your neighborhood and community around you, then you begin to understand how we can make a positive impact where we live. These actions on an individual level, can make a big W.H.A..L.E. of an impact on a larger global scale. We are stronger together, so let's get started!
Reciprocity is a way we show each other mutual respect and not taking the world around us for granted. This can be a small gesture of kindness, a gift, an exchange of time to share your skill or talent, a payment, etc. Typically what you offer is equal to what is being exchanged and will not demonstrate a hardship by either person. This is the first level of understanding to be in community with each other, and how we begin to understand Right Relations to respectfully connect with Indigenous Sovereign Nations.
Our Reciprocity Exchange Club is a trusted Network that is being developed, with the intention to build community and share resources with each other.

We acknowledge our California Indigenous Relatives land that we are guests of on their Ancestral land. We ask that you consider these traditions when you join us and continue to build community with us and celebrate life for many future generations.
We collaborate with Indigenous Cultural Survivalists and multi-disciplinary leaders to share these innovative techniques to teach our community members. We also hope to learn your more about your skills and how we can build a community resource list to activate in times of crisis, to be ready to unite together when we have the greatest need, and we will create and expand our Community & Neighborhood Preparedness Plan(s).
We are in interesting times right now, and we need to find ways to be prepared and look after one another. We will teach you basic survival skills and how to become familiar with what is around you, how to identify natural medicine and food, how to dry seeds for preservation, and how to seek and purify water. We have a responsibility with land management and understanding fire breaks, as well as what, when, where and why Cultural burns can be beneficial.
We developed trainings to teach how to be in Right Relations and can customize trainings and workshops to weave into your DEI trainings for work or school. Let us know what your current understanding is, what goals you have to be connected with our Indigenous communities and in what ways you will incorporate these teachings into your long term commitment to be in solidarity with Indigenous rights, as well protect our Mother Earth, our water, land and natural resources to protect for our future 7 generations and beyond.
We developed curriculum for grades K-12, College level courses, and 4 quarters Series that includes 3 months sessions that you can take 1 individual 3 month Series, or take consecutive to build and expand the in-depth learning to gain more understanding. We can offer in person or Virtual teaching to incorporate with your current lesson plan. We can also create a custom series to fit your specific needs to connect with your audience.
